Your Private Party Boat Awaits on the Gulf Coast of Anna Maria Island!
Sea Rocket brings you the most exciting way to experience Bradenton Beach and Anna Maria Island: a fully private double decker party boat charter with room for up to 12 guests, a water slide off the top deck, and not a single rigid schedule in sight. Choose your charter length, bring your own food and drinks, and let your local captain take care of everything else!
The two-deck setup gives everyone room to do exactly what they want. Kick back on the shaded lower level with a cold drink and great conversation, or head up to the open sundeck for sweeping views across the Gulf of Mexico and AMI’s famous white sand beaches. The Manatee River corridor is one of the most active dolphin habitats on Florida’s Gulf Coast, and encounters here are genuinely spectacular. It is not unusual to see pods of bottlenose dolphins riding alongside the boat at once, close enough that you feel like you could reach out and touch them. Keep an eye out for manatees too, especially in the calmer stretches of the inshore waterways. Your captain handles the navigation, you handle the playlist, and the whole day unfolds on your terms. Whether you want to anchor at a sandbar, slide into crystal-clear Gulf water, or cruise out toward the horizon, this is your boat and your adventure.
On charters of four hours or more, your captain can take the group out to Egmont Key State Park, a barrier island at the mouth of Tampa Bay with no roads, no crowds, and no way in except by boat. Follow the nature trails, snorkel around the base of the historic lighthouse, and shell along stretches of beach. Longer charters also open up the option to pull up to one of the area’s waterfront restaurants accessible only by boat. Tie up, step off, grab a bite and a cold drink, then get back on the water and keep the day going. Your captain knows the best spots and can work a restaurant stop into the route whenever your group is ready for it!
Whether you are planning a bachelorette weekend, a milestone birthday on the water, a family day, or just the best possible boat tour out of Bradenton Beach, the Sea Rocket double decker delivers. Book your charter and find out why this is one of the most popular things to do on Anna Maria Island!
Highlights:
- Two Full Decks of Fun: Take in the views from the open upper sundeck, then cool off in the shade on the lower level. The water slide off the top deck is a crowd favorite for every age group!
- Incredible Wildlife and Gulf Coast Scenery: The waters around Bradenton Beach and Anna Maria Island are teeming with marine life. Expect dolphin encounters, manatee sightings, mangrove coastlines, and Gulf views that stretch as far as you can see. Charters of four hours and longer can include a visit to Egmont Key State Park!

Arrival and Check-In at Blenker Boatworks & Marina
- Arrive at Blenker Boatworks & Marina where free on-site parking is waiting for you. If you completed your waiver in advance (we send it via email and text before your trip), boarding moves fast. Get your coolers on board, meet your captain, and run through a quick safety briefing.
Out on the Water
- The Intracoastal Waterway opens up as soon as you leave the marina. Your captain navigates through Sarasota Bay, the Manatee River, or out toward the Gulf of Mexico depending on your route. Anna Maria Island’s iconic white sand beaches come into view from the upper deck, dolphins begin appearing alongside the boat, and the trip shifts into full swing.
Sandbar Time
- This is what everyone came for! The anchor drops at one of the Gulf Coast’s best sandbars, the water slide is ready, and the inflatables go over the side. Swim in waist-deep crystal-clear water, float with a drink in hand, launch off the top deck into the Gulf, or just sit in the sun and let the afternoon happen. On four-hour and longer charters, Egmont Key is also within reach!
Optional Stops Along the Way
- Got time to spare? Your captain can point you toward a favorite waterfront spot for lunch or drinks, a hidden cove worth exploring, or a stretch of coastline that most visitors never see. These are the moments that come from having a local captain who knows where to go.
Heading Home
- The return cruise back to Blenker Boatworks is its own experience, with golden afternoon light on the Gulf, more chances to spot wildlife, and the kind of easy, satisfied energy that comes from a genuinely great day on the water. You will arrive back at the dock ready to book your next one!

Absolutely! All ages are welcome aboard the Sea Rocket double decker. The shaded lower deck is a comfortable spot for guests who want to take it easy, while the upper deck and water slide keep the energy high for the younger crowd. Life jackets are onboard for use. Dolphin sightings are one of the highlights of nearly every Sea Rocket charter! The Manatee River is one of the most consistently active bottlenose dolphin corridors on Florida’s Gulf Coast. Groups of 10 to 20 dolphins will often approach the boat, ride alongside it, and put on a show that has guests cheering and scrambling for their cameras. Manatees are a regular sighting as well, particularly in the sheltered inshore waterways.
