Fort Lauderdale FAQ

• We are located at the famous Bahia Mar Resort & Marina at 801 Seabreeze Blvd on Fort Lauderdale beach.
• All parasailing tours are located on “A-dock” just north of the brand new Marina Village.
• All speed boat tours and sunset cruises depart from “C-dock” just west of Marina Village. Look for the red, white, and blue flags flying on the pier and the huge American flag boat!
• We recommend parking in the Bahia Mar Hotel parking lot! Please arrive at least 25 minutes before your scheduled departure.

• Parasailing adventures run every two hours. Trips, on average, last an hour and forty-five minutes or less depending on how many people are aboard. Each flight goes up for 8-10 minutes.
• Speed boat cruises and sunset cruises will last 75 minutes.

Parasailing is a highly regulated industry governed by the FAA. Parasail operators can let up to 800 feet of line out but have a legal ceiling of operating at 400 feet above sea level. We cannot accommodate any requests to go higher than that ceiling.

• Our prices are available to see in our booking menu. Please remember that our prices are subject to change and could differ from when you first look at them. With our advance booking program, the further ahead you book your trip, the more you can save!

• Gratuity is not included with the cost of your trip. We ask everyone to please remember that our captains and mates are in the service industry and rely heavily on gratuity. We recommend a gratuity of 20% or more. If your captain and mate helped you to have a great trip, be sure to thank them!

• Yes, waivers are required for every customer that goes on any excursion with us. Our waivers are sent to you after booking or always available under the waivers tab. You may also fill out waivers at our ticket booth upon arrival.

• We recommend bringing sunscreen, sunglasses, and a bottle of water! Also, bringing cash to tip the crew is greatly appreciated!

• Casual dress such as shorts, bathing suits, and tees are recommended. The captain may dip your toes in the water during parasailing trips and you may be splashed during our Sea Rocket cruises!

• Absolutely! We do group bookings and private events for bachelor/bachelorette parties, school field trips, summer camps, birthday parties, corporate outings, and more!
• Partial boat rentals, partial boat rentals, or group discounts are available to your group.
• Fill out the private and group event request form and let us know how you would like to customize your trip.

• Safety is our top priority. If weather conditions, such as high winds or rough seas, are unsafe, we may cancel or delay tours.
• All sales are final. We highly recommend purchasing weather & trip insurance during checkout. Insurance gives you the flexibility to change your trip up to 60 minutes before departure.

• For parasailing trips, you must be at least 5 years old to go on the boat or in the air. There must be a minimum weight of 100 pounds for single riders and a maximum combined total weight limit of 475 pounds per flight. We reserve the right to make judgement calls based on passenger weight for your safety!
• Sea Rocket cruises are open to all ages!

• You are welcomed to bring along your phone or camera, however, drones are not allowed! We recommend using a waterproof case or secure strap for your devices. Sea Rocket is not responsible for lost or damaged goods.

• Small bags and personal items may be brought onboard your trip. We do not have on-site storage areas for larger items.

• Please consult with your doctor before participating in any of our excursions!
